JEREMIAH FOUR And The GAP

Whenever society brands a name to something, it is usually because they wish to take that something as a whole and either support it or toss it out. In many cases, deception is the purpose. Also, at the point someone begins to add things to support and integrate their beliefs into the mainstream, they have already made a fatal mistake if there heart is in proving Scripture. The mainstream will not integrate well into Scripture because mainstream is a deception unto itself. For example, those who believe that their is a gap in time between Genesis one and Genesis two can see in and by other Scriptures that there was an age before this flesh age. But they find that when they try to integrate mainstream with the Scriptures that they end up battling it out with non believers and non informed believers and deceivers as to whether the Scriptures are supported by that which is for fools. Thinking themselves wise, they became fools. The Scriptures support three ages. Those ages and their lengths of time cannot be known by man’s science, and cannot be based upon any knowledge of the mainstream. There are those that wish to integrate evolution and archaeology into the gap between the last age and this age. What they find is that they get caught up into a frustrating battle of wits in which confusion abounds. The mainstream argues that dinosaurs are millions of years old, yet they decide this with tools that can only measure backwards to a few thousand years. They perform hit and miss measuring of fossils in which the depth of the fossils take big part of their confidence on their hit and miss measurements. Never do they consider whether there was a global flood of major proportions that may have affected the depth and or locations of those fossils. In the latest of mainstream science, they are finding that if they use the correct acid to remove material surrounding fossils that are considered to be millions of years old, they are finding blood cells and arteries that could not survive such a long period of time. Mainstream science  is fleeting and not trustable due to opinions and reputations and deceivers. The following study considers Scripture only, and for the individual with eyes to see and ears to hear, leaves little doubt of an age before this age. An age that came to an end due to the evilness of man. Not man in the flesh, but man as GOD’S children before coming to the flesh. For a study that will place man (as us, being GOD’S children) in that age, watch the video: “GOD Hates That Baby! Why?”.

The book of Jeremiah is a place in Scripture where GOD pours out HIS feelings into the mind of a prophet telling HIS side of what has brought us to where we are and why we are here. Ezekiel is another prophet that GOD speaks to regarding things that have happened due to the evil nature of HIS children. And HE does so, for all of us to see. For this study, we will learn what GOD feels and says through the prophet Jeremiah.

Jeremiah 4:1  If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the LORD, return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove.

[
Note:
GOD is speaking to Israel, that if they will stop being wicked and return to HIM, they will stay in Jerusalem and not be taken captive by the king of Babylon.
]

Jeremiah 4:2  And thou shalt swear, The LORD liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.

[
Note:
They must swear their allegiance to GOD, knowing HIM. Then in Blessing themselves in HIM, they are surely Blessed. All Blessings come from GOD, and their Blessed state shall show the Glory of GOD, and in HIM shall they Glory.
]

Jeremiah 4:3  For thus saith the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns.

[
Note:
When a sower is going to plant seeds, the sower prepares the ground by breaking up the clumps of dirt, resulting in smoothing out the land so that the seeds take root and grow. The thorns are symbolic of the cares of this world. Thorns are always related to satan. They choke the WORD. Don’t sow the seeds of your heart in wicked things.
]

Jeremiah 4:4  Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.

[
Note:
Even though we are analyzing a book of the Old Testament, GOD says to circumcise the heart. Separate yourselves unto GOD in your heart. Be a people of GOD.
]

Jeremiah 4:5  Declare ye in Judah, and publish in Jerusalem; and say, Blow ye the trumpet in the land: cry, gather together, and say, Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the defenced cities.

Jeremiah 4:6  Set up the standard toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction.

[
Note:
Sound the trumpet. Warn the people. Turn your hearts to GOD. GOD is the standard (JESUS). Retire (change, reset back to what was), do not stay as you are. For GOD will bring the king of Babylon from the north, and the only way to change that is to return unto The LORD.
]

Jeremiah 4:7  The lion is come up from his thicket, and the destroyer of the Gentiles is on his way; he is gone forth from his place to make thy land desolate; and thy cities shall be laid waste, without an inhabitant.

[
Note:
Start to notice the parallel to the end time. Remember the “Types”. The lion is the king of Babylon, which is king Nebuchadnezzar. But the parallel is in the book of Revelation. The king of Babylon the great is anctichrist. Look back to the previous verses for what it will be like at the hour of temptation. The destroyer is the dragon. The desolator is the abomination of desolation as referenced by JESUS when HE was speaking of the book of Daniel. The desolation is caused by the antichrist. The antichrist is the desolator. What does it mean when something is desolate? It means that GOD is not there. It’s empty of GOD’S WORD.
]

Jeremiah 4:8  For this gird you with sackcloth, lament and howl: for the fierce anger of the LORD is not turned back from us.

[
Note:
It’s time to repent, seriously repent; for GOD’S anger is kindled. WHO has sent the king of Babylon? In both cases, here in Jeremiah, and in the hour of temptation, GOD has sent the king of Babylon.
]

Jeremiah 4:9  And it shall come to pass at that day, saith the LORD, that the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be astonished, and the prophets shall wonder.

[
Note:
“At that day”: In both cases, here in Jeremiah and at the end time, when this takes place and the people realize what is happening, they will be dumbfounded. They will wonder what happened. The answer is after the next verse.
]

Jeremiah 4:10  Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! surely thou hast greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall have peace; whereas the sword reacheth unto the soul.

[
Note:
Now, it is extremely important to pay attention to what is said here. Prophets may ask GOD a question, but when prophets speak to the people, what do they speak? They speak GOD’S WORDS. So, Jeremiah is wondering why did GOD allow those false prophets to speak of peace to the people. Well, if you look at it, you will see that the people were wicked. If they had changed their hearts, GOD would have kept them safe. If only they would return to HIM with a TRUE heart, a circumcised heart. So, they got what they deserved. Should GOD let them be wicked and give them answers or peace? Should HE protect them when they are evil? Change first, then ask and expect help from GOD.
]

Jeremiah 4:11  At that time shall it be said to this people and to Jerusalem, A dry wind of the high places in the wilderness toward the daughter of my people, not to fan, nor to cleanse,

Jeremiah 4:12  Even a full wind from those places shall come unto me: now also will I give sentence against them.

[
Note:
A fan would be for separating the wheat from the chaff, or to cleanse the land. But this is a gusty wind, a gusty spirit. A spirit of confusion. They won’t realize what’s happening until it’s too late. And it is all because they would not break up their fallow ground and sow good seed, and not among thorns.
]

Jeremiah 4:13  Behold, he shall come up as clouds, and his chariots shall be as a whirlwind: his horses are swifter than eagles. Woe unto us! for we are spoiled.

[
Note:
Compare this to Ezekiel 38, and to the book of Joel.

Ezekiel 38:8  After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.

Ezekiel 38:9  Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.

Joel 2:1  Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;

Joel 2:2  A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.

Joel 2:3  A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

Joel 2:4  The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.

Joel 2:5  Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.

Joel 2:6  Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.

Joel 2:7  They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:

Joel 2:8  Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.

Joel 2:9  They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.

Joel 2:10  The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:

Joel 2:11  And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
]

Jeremiah 4:14  O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee?

Jeremiah 4:15  For a voice declareth from Dan, and publisheth affliction from mount Ephraim.

[
Note:
Israel was always laid out with the tribe of Dan at the North. The enemy comes from the north. If Israel were watching, they would notice it.
]

Jeremiah 4:16  Make ye mention to the nations; behold, publish against Jerusalem, that watchers come from a far country, and give out their voice against the cities of Judah.

Jeremiah 4:17  As keepers of a field, are they against her round about; because she hath been rebellious against me, saith the LORD.

Jeremiah 4:18  Thy way and thy doings have procured these things unto thee; this is thy wickedness, because it is bitter, because it reacheth unto thine heart.

[
Note:
Watchers in the prophetic sense are angels. And this is a prophecy of the end times. A type of what will be at the end. Jerusalem will be under siege. Because of their wicked ways, bitter; they will get a taste of their own medicine.
]

Jeremiah 4:19  My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; my heart maketh a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, because thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.

[
Note:
WHOSE Bowels? Prophets may speak to GOD, but when a prophet speaks to the people, they speak GOD’S WORDS.

2 Timothy 3:16  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2 Timothy 3:17  That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
]

Jeremiah 4:20  Destruction upon destruction is cried; for the whole land is spoiled: suddenly are my tents spoiled, and my curtains in a moment.

[
Note:
GOD’S dwelling place, the Temple is spoiled.

2 Chronicles 31:2  And Hezekiah appointed the courses of the priests and the Levites after their courses, every man according to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the tents of the LORD.

Exodus 26:1  Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work shalt thou make them.

Exodus 26:2  The length of one curtain shall be eight and twenty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and every one of the curtains shall have one measure.

Exodus 26:3  The five curtains shall be coupled together one to another; and other five curtains shall be coupled one to another.

Exodus 26:4  And thou shalt make loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling; and likewise shalt thou make in the uttermost edge of another curtain, in the coupling of the second.

Exodus 26:5  Fifty loops shalt thou make in the one curtain, and fifty loops shalt thou make in the edge of the curtain that is in the coupling of the second; that the loops may take hold one of another.

Exodus 26:6  And thou shalt make fifty taches of gold, and couple the curtains together with the taches: and it shall be one tabernacle.
]

Jeremiah 4:21  How long shall I see the standard, and hear the sound of the trumpet?

[
Notes:
The standard is the layout of the tribes of Israel in times of war or when travelling as instructed by GOD (See Numbers chapter two). The tribe of Dan is at the north and should be first to notice an attacking invader from that direction. The sound of the trumpet is the alarm of war. At the end of the age, the STANDARD is JESUS CHRIST. I believe that the sound of the Trumpet will be the Seventh Trump, however, I do realize that the election will be fighting against the enemy before the Seventh Trump sounds.
]

Jeremiah 4:22  For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

[
Note:
WHOSE people are foolish? It’s not Jeremiah’s people. Why would they care if they know Jeremiah or not? And they are surely not Jeremiah’s children, and they would not be children at all from Jeremiah’s perspective. To believe that Jeremiah is speaking verse 4:22 from his own heart would be to elevate Jeremiah to a place of higher existence. Such a consideration is not worthy of attention. Foolish means silly and sottish means stupid.
]

Jeremiah 4:23  I beheld H7200 (H853) the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

[
Note:
H7200
רָאָה
râ'âh
raw aw'
A primitive root; to see, literally or figuratively (in numerous applications, direct and implied, transitively, intransitively and causatively):  advise self, appear, approve, behold, X certainly, consider, discern, (make to) enjoy, have experience, gaze, take heed, X indeed, X joyfully, lo, look (on, one another, one on another, one upon another, out, up, upon), mark, meet, X be near, perceive, present, provide, regard, (have) respect, (fore, cause to, let) see (r, m, one another), shew (self), X sight of others, (e) spy, stare, X surely, X think, view, visions.

H853
אֵת
'êth
ayth
Apparently contracted from H226 in the demonstrative sense of entity; properly self (but generally used to point out more definitely the object of a verb or preposition, even or namely):  (As such unrepresented in English.)

H226
אוֹת
'ôth
oth
Probably from H225 (in the sense of appearing); a signal (literally or figuratively), as a flag, beacon, monument, omen, prodigy, evidence, etc.:  mark, miracle, (en) sign, token.

“I beheld” in verse 4:23 is in the sense of saying look, as a warning or signal. It is not exactly the same as “I beheld in the forgoing verses which means “to see”. This one has the added meaning of emphasis as to say: Look, I did this before and I will do it again.

There is only one other place in all of Scripture that the earth is noted as being without form, and void, and that is in Genesis one. This statement is made by GOD, HIMSELF, for HE was there. For this statement to be made at this particular place in Scripture also, and then describing the state as is done so here, indicates a serious destruction. In both places in Scripture it’s the earth that is completely and utterly void, not the city or any single part of a land mass. It’s the entire earth that is spoken of here. And, these statements speak in past tense. It is not presented as a vision, but as a direct statement from GOD to Jeremiah. GOD is speaking HIS heart to Jeremiah and Jeremiah is speaking GOD’S WORDS. This is before king Nebuchadnezzar puts Jerusalem under siege or invades Jerusalem. To speak of this description as the invasion by king Nebuchadnezzar would be taking the entire passage out of context. Both statements, here and in Genesis one, are speaking of the same point in time. In Genesis one, the Scriptures are going forward in time. In Jeremiah four, the Scriptures are looking backward in time.

Genesis 1:2  And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
]

Jeremiah 4:24  I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.

[
Note:
To tremble means to undulate. That means the ground is waving like a flag, which is an earthquake.
]

Jeremiah 4:25  I beheld, and, lo, there was no H369 man, H120 and all the birds of the heavens were fled. H5074

[
Note:
“there was” has been added by the translators. “no” means to be nothing or not exist. It means non entity. This is not saying that king Nebuchadnezzar or anyone else has taken any man captive. It says that no human exists. “were fled” means the birds were flying back and forth as though to not know where to go, like a waving pattern. It’s an indication that the earthquake was wide spread.

H369
אַיִן
'ayin
ay' yin
As if from a primitive root meaning to be nothing or not exist; a non entity; generally used as a negative particle:  else, except, fail [father] less, be gone, in [curable], neither, never, no (where), none, nor (any, thing), not, nothing, to nought, past, un [searchable], well nigh, without, Compare H370.

H120
אָדָם
'âdâm
aw dawm'
From H119; ruddy, that is, a human being (an individual or the species, mankind, etc.):  X another, + hypocrite, + common sort, X low, man (mean, of low degree), person.

H5074
נָדַד
nâdad
naw dad'
A primitive root; properly to wave to and fro (rarely to flap up and down); figuratively to rove, flee, or (causatively) to drive away:  chase (away), X could not, depart, flee (X apace, away), (re) move, thrust away, wander (abroad, er, ing).

Jeremiah 4:26  I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.

[
Note:
The fruitful place is Jerusalem. It’s GOD’S favorite place on earth and in the universe. If you watch “The Trees In Eden” or “The Trees In Eden [Remake]” you will see that GOD’S THRONE is to go on the North side of the Temple in Jerusalem. You will also see that the devil says that this is where he will place his throne. See Ezekiel 16 where GOD weds Jerusalem. This destruction of the earth is what GOD beheld (past tense) and all the cities were broken down at GOD’S presence, and by GOD’S fierce anger, not by king Nebuchadnezzar’s presence. Indeed, something dreadful must have happened to cause such anger from our LORD.
]

Jeremiah 4:27  For thus H3541 hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.

[
Note:
H3541
כֹּה
kôh
ko
From the prefix K and H1931; properly like this, that is, by implication (of manner) thus (or so); also (of place) here (or hither); or (of time) now:  also, here, + hitherto, like, on the other side, so (and much), such, on that manner, (on) this (manner, side, way, way and that way), + mean while, yonder.

Just like this, as The LORD beheld at an earlier time, is how HE will destroy everything. But this time, HE will not make it a full end. HE does not indicate that last time was not a full end. HIS statement on not making it a full end is after the description of the destruction and after HE says “thus”.
]

Jeremiah 4:28  For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.

[
Note:
Hereby, because The LORD has spoken it will the earth mourn (cry, bewail). GOD destroyed the earth before, and HE will do it again.
]

Jeremiah 4:29  The whole city shall flee for the noise of the horsemen and bowmen; they shall go into thickets, and climb up upon the rocks: every city shall be forsaken, and not a man dwell therein.

[
Note:
This is speaking of the future. It has interesting parallels to the book of Joel and the locust army. The locust army is a very important part of what leads to the end of the age.
]

Jeremiah 4:30  And when thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rentest thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; thy lovers will despise thee, they will seek thy life.

[
Note:
Revelation 17:3  So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

Revelation 17:4  And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

Revelation 17:5  And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

She is supposed to be the GROOM’S Bride, but she becomes THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS.

And what will her lovers do?

Revelation 17:15  And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

Revelation 17:16  And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

Revelation 17:17  For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

Revelation 17:18  And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
]

Jeremiah 4:31  For I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail, and the anguish as of her that bringeth forth her first child, the voice of the daughter of Zion, that bewaileth herself, that spreadeth her hands, saying, Woe is me now! for my soul is wearied because of murderers.

[
Note:
That is exactly what they are doing at the end of this age, murdering souls.

Here are the birth pains of the last age as this age was about to be born:

Revelation 12:1  And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

Revelation 12:2  And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

And here are the birth pains of this age as the next and final age is about to be born:

Matthew 24:3  And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

Matthew 24:4  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

Matthew 24:8  All these are the beginning of sorrows. G5604

G5604
ὠδίν
ōdin
o deen'
Akin to G3601; a pang or throe, especially of childbirth:  pain, sorrow, travail.

Read the entire chapters of the verses referenced for a more detailed and proper description.
]

As JESUS said, take heed that no man deceive you. There is much more to what happened to put us here in the flesh than the devil wants you to know about. When you see entertaining preachers that are breezing over Scriptures and pulling sleight of hand and fast talking confusion. Check their numbers, they may be backed by the synagogue. Nevertheless, they may also be blinded. It is not for everyone to know these things. It’s entirely dependent on whether each individual has eyes to see and ears to hear.

Luke 8:10  And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

JEREMIAH FOUR And The GAP

Whenever society brands a name to something, it is usually because they wish to take that something as a whole and either support it or toss it out. In many cases, deception is the purpose.

]

]

]

]

]

]

]

]

]

]

Joel 2:1  Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;

]

]

]

]

]

]

]

]

Jeremiah 4:24  I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.

[
Note:
To tremble means to undulate. That means the ground is waving like a flag, which is an earthquake.
]

]

]

]

]

]

]

]

]

]

]

]

]

]

]

]

]

Joel 2:1  Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;

]

]

]

]

]

Jeremiah 4:24  I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.

[
Note:
To tremble means to undulate. That means the ground is waving like a flag, which is an earthquake.
]

]

]

]

]

]

]
